Vladimir Putin, the bear of the Kremlin, is showing no signs of budging until the war costs him more than he can stomach. This is no time for weak-kneed diplomacy. What we need is strength and strategy—a master plan by President Trump, a leader who knows how to turn up the economic heat until this adversary is compelled to seek peace.
Right now, the Russian leader continues to relish his game of geopolitical chess while Western alliances fret over misguided notions of fairness and diplomacy. Truth is, a tyrant like Putin only respects power. And this power must come not from capitulation but from relentless pressure, the kind our previous administration fell short on. Trump should tighten the economic screws until Russia realizes their aggressive pursuits will bleed them dry.
The feeble liberal elites seem to love the idea of bending over backwards for tyrants; it’s appalling and predictable. How many times have we witnessed their failure to hold despots accountable? Instead, they prefer to cozy up, offering incentives to despots in a naive hopefulness that lacks any semblance of common sense.
Stop the mollycoddling and load up the economic cannons. Trump holds the economic leverage needed to finally make Putin weigh the costs with the seriousness it deserves. No polite sit-downs with dictators, but a strategic economic onslaught that makes Moscow reconsider its arrogance. That’s the American edge, born of strength, not apology.
Is there ever a time when these globalists will understand that until you teach the bully a lesson, they’ll keep pushing? Trump knows this, and he should act decisively. Where’s the liberal resolve to protect freedom? Instead, it’s Trump who can force Putin’s hand to the table, turning costs into catastrophe for the Kremlin. Isn’t that a plan for true peace?
