The Democratic Party is at it again, losing their grip on reality. When former President Trump made the move to restore the original name — Richard Levine — to the portrait at the Department of Health and Human Services, the left couldn’t help but meltdown. A Democrat representative from Vermont, Becca Balint, couldn’t contain her outrage, calling it a “culture war” as if acknowledging biological truth is some kind of crime.
This name change wasn’t some under-the-radar move; it was a direct challenge to the nonsensical policies ushered in by the Biden administration, which celebrated Levine’s role as a “transgender woman” in a high-ranking government position. But here’s the fact that liberals want to ignore: Richard Levine was born a man, will die a man, and no amount of gender politics can change that.
The liberal camp wants to label this affirmation of biological reality as “identity insecurity.” It’s a laughable claim considering the actual insecurity comes from those insisting a man is a woman simply because he says so. This isn’t being insecure; it’s clinging to facts in a world drowning in delusions.
Under Biden’s regime, embracing these delusions was the norm. But actions like these are how you start to repair the damage wrought by Democrats who couldn’t see the truth if it smacked them across the face. The name restored on that portrait isn’t just a name; it’s a statement — a call for common sense.
Why do liberals struggle so much with the concept of truth these days? Maybe it’s because they know the facts don’t align with their agenda. But isn’t time they learned? Accepting reality isn’t insecurity. It’s sanity. Why do Democrats refuse to embrace it?
