It’s a manufactured crisis designed to stoke fear and funnel taxpayer dollars into the pockets of cronies and green corporate giants.
Solar and wind power are hailed as clean, green miracles, but the truth is they are wildly expensive and wildly ineffective. Solar power costs about seven times more than coal or natural gas, and that eye-popping price tag is hidden behind a maze of subsidies and mandates. If you think the environmental groups pushing renewable energy are the defenders of our planet, think again. These outfits sell doom-and-gloom fantasies about climate change to keep the cash flowing. When the globe failed to warm as predicted, the narrative conveniently shifted to “climate change,” a catch-all phrase with zero tough scientific backing. Meanwhile, the Sierra Club and its ilk focus more on fundraising than finding realistic solutions. Even supposedly reputable media outlets have started recognizing the flaws and internal struggles within these organizations. Their “mission” increasingly reads like a political grift, not an environmental one.
What’s especially galling is the way renewable energy lobbyists manipulate markets using long-term contracts and mandates to reduce their supposed “costs.” These arrangements heavily benefit industry insiders and infrastructure investors while the average consumer gets stuck with skyrocketing bills. The moment these mandates disappear, so do the profits and probably the projects themselves. This is not an industry thriving on merit — it’s a parasitic beast eating away at America’s economic and energy backbone.
Americans deserve energy that’s affordable, reliable, and American-made—not political theater masquerading as progress. It’s time to yank the plug on these fairy tales. Let’s invest in real energy solutions that don’t bankrupt our families or jeopardize our grid’s stability. We should be proud of coal, natural gas, and yes, even nuclear — not kowtowing to a renewable empire built on subsidies, lies, and cautionary tales of imaginary catastrophes.
