Trust the Science? Sure. Trust the Left? Never!
The year 2020 was supposed to be a time where we leaned on science to see us through a pandemic. Instead, it became crystal clear that the left had wrapped their claws around scientific authority, twisting it to push political agendas. A grieving family in Wisconsin couldn’t even give a proper military farewell to a Vietnam veteran because Governor Evers and his ilk decided funerals were a public hazard. But, miraculously, protests and gatherings for Black Lives Matter were sanitized of COVID risk overnight. Ask yourself, who were the real beneficiaries of that selective narrative?
For months, people were forced to stay home, schools were shut, and our basic freedoms were stripped away under the guise of “safety.” Critique and you’re an “anti-science grandma killer.” Heaven forbid you want to exercise your First Amendment rights or question why tattoo parlors were open but churches were not. Locked out of funerals and weddings, yet the streets burned with sanctioned protests. It’s almost like the rules only apply to the law-abiding folks, while the radical left gets a free pass.
And remember when they promised climate catastrophe if we didn’t bow to their collectivist climate agenda? New York and Florida were supposed to be underwater decades ago! While the nobel elites buy beachfront properties, middle-class folks are told to eat bugs and give up their pets to “save the planet.” Do they think we’re that blind?
And then there’s gender ideology. The left would have us believe in a world where biology means nothing, and anyone can identify as anything. Girls must surrender their private spaces and sports to ensure the inclusivity of biologically male competitors. This isn’t science; it’s unfair insanity. Genuine science knows men and women are fundamentally different, yet liberal policies aim to blur these truths to push their agenda.
The real issue isn’t a distrust in science; it’s an unwavering distrust in how the left manipulates science to serve their radical goals. They gut scientific evidence and wear it like a suit to propagate their dogma. We don’t need their version of “science” any more than we need their version of authoritarian “compassion.” So, will we keep letting them pull the wool over our nation’s eyes?
