In Vienna, at a time meant to celebrate the birth of Christ, an art museum has chosen to spit in the face of Christians worldwide by hosting an offensive exhibit allegedly in the name of “modern art.” This display viciously attacks core Christian beliefs with repugnant pieces mocking Jesus and His blessed Mother Mary. It’s not enough for the godless elites to ignore Christian values; now they openly ridicule them, all while wrapping their sneers in the cloak of state-funded artistry. The supposed artworks include disturbing images like a crucified frog and allusions to the Pietà with bizarre, disrespectful twists on sacred themes.
The blatant anti-Christian bias on full display here would never be tolerated if this exhibit mocked another faith such as Islam or Judaism. Where’s the outcry for religious respect and tolerance now? This is a deliberate provocation against a religion that is confident enough not to seek revenge but should not be asked to calmly accept these attacks. It seems globalists will stop at nothing to weaken Christian influence whether it be through blasphemous acts like this or through more insidious means tailored to erode traditional family values.
Instead of a strong condemnation, we see some so-called leaders in the Church praising this garbage as inspirational. Bishop Hermann Glettler and Cathedral Pastor Toni Faber both bizarrely lauded these grotesqueries. These are the same Church leaders who fail to understand that their spineless praise only strengthens the gall of these anti-Christian provocateurs. Instead of protecting their flock from such offensive attacks, they’re practically rolling out the red carpet for more.
Every act of blasphemy that slips by without consequence entrenches a new low for society. These exhibits legitimize irreverence not just towards Christianity, but towards any moral framework that opposes the chaos these liberal elites promote. By normalizing such rot, the elites empower countless more challenges against Christianity, encouraging other profane instigators to emerge from their lairs, feeling emboldened and unchallenged.
What’s truly offensive is the apathy European society seems to exhibit when Christians are attacked in this manner. Where is the defense of Christian values in this so-called bastion of Western civilization? If we let this be the status quo, then we are submitting to a future devoid of morality, ushered in by a cultural equivalent of a wrecking ball. Who will stand up for what’s right if not us? When will enough be enough?
