Minneapolis has always prided itself on its so-called progressivism. Yet here we see that it’s nothing more than another front for racial discrimination, masking itself as a noble cause. It’s downright outrageous to see a public institution, which survives on taxpayer money, twist civil rights laws to fit their left-wing agenda. They try to stack their halls with a predetermined quota of BIPOC staff, disregarding individuals who just might be better for the job. What happened to competence? To character? Perhaps those qualities take a back seat when the ultimate goal is pandering to a narrative.

The more radical Democrats push DEI as the ultimate goal, the less they seem to care about actual fairness. It’s high time these educational bastions return to hiring based on skills and contributions, rather than playing favorites based on skin color.
