Once again, the left’s cancel culture has chewed up another honest, hardworking American. In the latest outrage, a respected Chicago-area gym teacher lost his job—for daring to type two little words showing support for law enforcement. That’s right. A veteran educator was forced out just because he said something positive about ICE agents. Welcome to 2025 in America, where supporting your own country is somehow a dangerous act.
James Heidorn, who spent years guiding and mentoring kids at Gary Elementary School, simply posted “GO ICE” on Facebook. That short statement blew up into a local scandal. Not because it was hateful, or violent, or even untrue. Nope. Just because it didn’t fit the radical left’s soft-on-crime, open-borders agenda. The mob came for him, school officials cowered, and suddenly a beloved coach is tossed aside like yesterday’s news. Where is the outrage for teachers who actually care about American values?
This is the upside-down world socialists have created. Liberals demand “diversity”—but only if you think exactly like they do. They preach “tolerance”—until you express support for the law enforcement officers keeping our borders safe. Then, you’re public enemy number one.
What’s next? Will teachers be fired for saying they support the police? Will they be punished for saying the Pledge of Allegiance? Leftists want to silence anyone who stands up for basic law and order. Anyone who threatens their globalist dreams is an immediate target, even if it means destroying the career of a man who dedicated his life to helping children.
Heidorn’s story is a warning to every patriotic American: Speak the truth, and the woke mob will try to destroy you. But if we keep letting these anti-American bullies run the show, soon the only thing left in our schools will be fear and silence. Since when did loving your country become a fireable offense?
