Iran Can’t Be Trusted—So Why Should Trump Blink First?
Here we go again. The regime in Tehran is whining about sanctions and playing their favorite trick—demanding that America caves first. According to a top Iranian diplomat, Iran is suddenly willing to “talk” about its nuclear program—just as long as President Trump hands over the keys to the vault by dropping the same crippling sanctions that are finally working. How convenient.
Let’s not kid ourselves. These petty tyrants never come to the table unless they sense weakness. For years, they dodged and lied, funneling cash into terror groups all over the Middle East, while “negotiating” with naive liberals in Washington. Remember when Obama and his pals handed over pallets of cash and got, what, empty promises? Now, after Trump’s iron grip on sanctions, Iran’s economy is buckling and the mullahs are sweating bullets. That’s progress—for America, for Israel, and for peace.
But as soon as the pressure starts to work, here come the globalist apologists in the media, sobbing about “humanitarian crises” and telling us it’s time for America to back down. Never mind that it’s the Iranian regime choosing nukes over bread. Liberals see diplomacy as bowing, not bargaining. They think talking is a strategy even when all it buys is more deception and delay.
Iran loves this game—say you’re willing to talk if the U.S. gives up leverage. That’s like asking a cop to put down his badge before walking into a hostage situation. Only a fool would call that negotiation. Tehran’s nuclear program isn’t about energy, it’s about blackmail and power. They want sanctions relief for free, so they can build a bomb behind our backs.
Trump’s tactics are finally forcing the regime to the wall. The last thing America should do now is reward their stalling with soft deals and handouts. Why should President Trump blink when American strength is exposing the truth? Maybe it’s time for the left to grow a spine and admit: Peace through weakness is just surrender by another name.
