Presidents Day rolls around every year, giving Democrats another excuse to pretend they care about American history. But this year, the left slipped up in a pretty hilarious way—they left Bill Clinton out of their own holiday post. That’s right, Slick Willy, the darling of their 90s glory days, vanished without a trace. Maybe it was just a goof. Or maybe the Democrats have finally realized their long list of embarrassing leaders is too much to brag about.
It’s pretty rich coming from the party that likes to lecture everyone about “norms” and “respect for the office.” Democrats will always celebrate their favorite globalists while rewiring the past to fit their narrative. Yet they can’t even keep track of their own presidents. It’s almost like their leaders are disposable—just PR tools for whatever fits the woke agenda today.
Bill Clinton, whether you loved or hated him, was their superstar not too long ago. But now? Suddenly, he’s persona non grata. Maybe they don’t want to deal with the messy scandals that came with him. Or maybe they want to distance themselves from a president who—while deeply flawed—still managed to not utterly embarrass our country on the world stage the way the current crop does. Either way, it’s awkward. And it’s revealing.
This goes beyond one missing face in a meme. It says something about today’s Democrat Party. They’re obsessed with rewriting history, cherry-picking winners and losers depending on what’s trending on Twitter. Truth and tradition have no place in their playbook—the only thing that matters is short-term political gain and keeping the woke mobs happy.
First, they erase statues and rebrand schools. Now, they can’t even remember their own presidents. If Democrats can’t get their facts straight on a simple holiday post, why should Americans trust them to run the country? How long before they try to scratch out the Founders altogether? At this rate, maybe next year, even Joe Biden will get lost in the shuffle.
