Liberals love to preach transparency and accountability when the target is a conservative. But when one of their Hollywood darlings gets dragged into the muck, the story changes faster than you can blink.
On The View, Goldberg tried to act unfazed as the Epstein bombshell broke. Instead of honest answers, viewers were treated to the usual Democrat spin: nothing to see here, just a coincidence, move along. Joy Behar, master of awkward timing, brought it up in the name of “transparency.” But the only thing transparent is the laughable attempt to downplay this scandal. What happened to holding powerful elites accountable? Or is that just another tool to attack anyone outside the liberal club?
This should wake up anyone with common sense. For years, the mainstream media told us Epstein’s list was a “vast right-wing conspiracy.” Yet as more names trickle out—especially those from Hollywood’s radical left—suddenly we’re told it’s all just misunderstandings and nothing really matters. If this was a Trump ally, the headline would be burning across every channel, day and night. But because it’s one of their own, the left demands everyone just “trust them.”
Americans are tired of this double standard. Epstein’s connections run deep in the liberal establishment, from Democrat politicians to celebrities who think they’re untouchable. Every time a name like Whoopi Goldberg appears in these files, the left instantly circles the wagons. They want to silence questions, control the narrative, and pretend their side is pure as snow. Meanwhile, anyone challenging their hypocrisy is smeared as “extremist” or “conspiratorial.”
Ask yourself—why do the powerful leftists always find excuses while demanding conservatives answer for even the slightest hint of controversy? The truth is simple: When it comes to the elite, the law and public scrutiny simply don’t apply. Goldberg and her cohorts are proof the left refuses to clean up its own mess. Maybe it’s time for Hollywood and their globalist pals to stop preaching and start answering real questions. Or is holding themselves accountable just too much to ask?
