Capitol chaos proves liberal lawlessness is putting everyone at risk

Another day in Washington, another crisis on the Capitol steps. This time, it was a man jumping out of a vehicle, shotgun in hand, charging straight for the heart of America’s government. He didn’t get far before getting tackled and cuffed by Capitol Police. Thank goodness for alert officers—and a legal system with enough teeth left, at least for today, to put a stop to madness before it spiraled into tragedy.

But let’s get something straight: this is what happens after years of liberal lawlessness, where criminals are coddled and police are vilified. Far-left policies have outright invited lunatics to treat our capital like their personal playground. Democrats claim they’re all about “peaceful protest,” but they created a climate where radicals and unhinged maniacs feel empowered to storm one of the most sacred sites in the country, weapons blazing.

Where is the outrage from the usual suspects? The mainstream media will fall all over themselves blaming conservatives, talking about “gun culture” instead of the collapse of moral culture. They’ll ignore that a robust police response stopped this man. Instead, they’ll repeat tired talking points about banning firearms. They won’t say a word about soft-on-crime prosecutors letting bad guys roam free, or radical activists stripping police of the tools they need to keep the public safe.

Let’s be honest, the Capitol has been under siege ever since the left decided boundaries were optional. Open borders, sanctuary cities, riots in the streets—liberals enabled it all. Now, even the Capitol isn’t safe from chaos creeping in. All it takes is one unstable individual willing to exploit the breakdown of law and order, and suddenly every American’s sense of security is shattered.

Will anyone in Washington learn from this wake-up call? Or will the anti-police, anti-gun lobby just double down, blaming the Second Amendment for the very chaos that their own policies encouraged? Until liberals admit their experiment in lawlessness is a failure, don’t expect the madness to end.
