Stephen Colbert just got caught red-handed. The so-called “comedian” made a big fuss, crying victim of censorship. He wants America to believe the Federal Communications Commission tried to silence his “tough” interview with his favored left-wing candidate, James Talarico. The facts? Not even close. This entire “censorship” narrative fell apart fast—like it always does when liberals start throwing around wild accusations.
This is classic leftist playbook: when their side is losing, they pretend to be attacked by evil, imaginary “censors.” The truth is, CBS itself wasn’t happy with Colbert’s stunt. Even the Trump administration, which liberals love to smear as fascist, publicly scoffed at these desperate claims. There was no secret plot. There was no government muzzle. Colbert just wanted headlines and pity from his shrinking audience.
Big shock—another celebrity leftist invents persecution where none exists. The same crowd that cheers when conservatives are shadow-banned or de-platformed suddenly erupts in outrage if anyone questions their own propaganda. This is hypocrisy at its finest. When will liberals learn that crying wolf only exposes their own dishonesty?
And why was Colbert so desperate? Maybe it’s because his candidate, Talarico—paraded around as the “future of Texas”—is losing traction. The primary is tight, and Democrats are terrified of losing their grip in key states. So the media circus rolls out, complete with fake scandals and phony outrage, hoping to gin up some buzz where there’s only embarrassment.
Real Americans are sick and tired of these games. The left pretends to fight censorship, but it’s always them pushing hardest for speech control, cancel culture, and woke policing of ideas they can’t handle. Why can’t liberals just admit their ideas can’t survive in the open? Maybe because, deep down, they know it’s true.
