Across America, some good news is finally breaking through the noise. A handful of brave states are standing up and saying, “Enough!” when it comes to schools leading anti-ICE walkouts. For too long, certain teachers and administrators have acted like political activists instead of educators—pushing children to skip class and demonize law enforcement. These walkouts aren’t about “student voices.” They’re about grown-ups pushing a radical agenda down the throats of impressionable kids.
Let’s make something clear: ICE agents are out there every single day protecting our nation’s borders and enforcing the law. The left doesn’t want that. They want open borders, no rules, and chaos. Now they’ve resorted to using public schools—taxpayer-funded, mind you—as training grounds for their anti-American stunts. They’re organizing children, getting them riled up with half-truths, and sending them out into the streets—sometimes right into dangerous situations. Who benefits? Certainly not those kids.
Just look at the chaos these walkouts have caused. Young people, wound up by political hysteria, take to the streets with barely any understanding of what ICE actually does. And then, when violence breaks out, the left-run schools pretend to be surprised. Maybe if educators focused more on teaching reading and math instead of indoctrination, we wouldn’t be seeing this kind of nonsense.
This is liberal hypocrisy at its worst. The same people screaming about “safety” and “respect” for everyone are the first to put children in harm’s way to score political points. Meanwhile, globalist elites sneer from their gated communities, happy to have our schools doing their dirty work. They don’t care about border security, American values, or the rule of law.
States pushing back against this reckless behavior are doing the right thing. Schools should be places where children learn—not pawns in a left-wing power grab. If local politicians and school boards won’t protect our kids from political exploitation, then brave state leaders must step in. Isn’t it about time someone asked: when did teaching children to hate ICE become more important than teaching them to love America?
