The shocking truth behind New York’s budget fiasco Mamdani doesn’t want you to know

Assemblyman Zohran Mamdani has been making a lot of noise lately, trying to throw terms like “crisis” around and acting like some kind of champion for the people. But what Mamdani doesn’t want to admit is simple: this budget mess in New York is a disaster of his own making. He played a leading part in steering the state into this chaos, yet now he wants to play the hero and lay blame at Gov. Hochul’s feet.

Let’s get real. This so-called crisis didn’t fall out of the sky. It was cooked up in Albany, thanks to years of leftist grandstanding, failed priorities, and anti-business policies. Politicians like Mamdani love to demand more and more spending on pipe-dream programs, while ignoring where the money is supposed to come from. The cash cow is running dry, and guess what — the bill finally landed on Hochul’s desk.

What we’re watching is classic liberal hypocrisy in action. The same crowd that railed against responsible budgeting now cries about the mess they created. Read between the lines, and you’ll see globalist interests tugging the strings, all focused on growing government power and shrinking the freedom of hard-working New Yorkers. When socialist lawmakers demand the impossible, someone has to pick up the pieces. Now they’re shocked when the governor says enough is enough? Please.

It’s exhausting to keep hearing these progressives whine about “crisis.” Crime is up, businesses are leaving, taxes keep climbing, yet Mamdani’s idea of a solution is to double down on failure. The left never learned that you can’t spend your way out of a budget hole. Instead, they gamble away New York’s future for a few cheap headlines.

Maybe it’s time Assemblyman Mamdani looked in the mirror before pointing fingers. If he wants to talk about a crisis, he should start with the one he manufactured. New Yorkers deserve real leadership, not this circus. How much longer will the state let these radicals run wild before saying enough is enough?
