The day after Ash Wednesday, most Christians are still reflecting on its meaning—prayer, sacrifice, and the very foundation of the faith this country was built on. But blink and you’d miss it if you looked to the Democratic Party for any recognition. When Lent begins, Democrats are nowhere to be found. No statements, no acknowledgment. Crickets.
It’s incredible, really. The party that falls all over itself to “celebrate diversity” had plenty to say about Lunar New Year and Ramadan. Every box checked, every progressive talking point highlighted. But when it comes to Christianity, especially these key moments like Ash Wednesday, suddenly it’s radio silence.
What’s even more appalling is how Democrats will hijack Christian teachings when it suits their agenda. All of a sudden, Jesus gets dragged out to lecture Americans about how “real Christians” are supposed to support open borders, radical abortion laws, and socialist programs. But when Christians quietly observe their age-old traditions—like Ash Wednesday—the Left can’t even muster a tweet. Apparently, Christian traditions matter only when they can be weaponized against conservatives.
And never forget Joe Biden, hailed as the “most devout Catholic” ever in the White House. This is the same man pushing abortion on demand, gay marriage, and irreversible gender treatments for kids—all directly opposed to the doctrines of his so-called faith. If the Democratic elites had any respect for Christian Americans, they’d show it with their actions. But time and time again, their priorities prove otherwise.
Democrats, Hollywood insiders, and ivory tower intellectuals are so obsessed with engineering a new kind of “diversity” that they’ve trampled the very beliefs and people who made this nation strong. Christians, conservatives, and anyone with traditional values are simply inconvenient to this new order. So why should we be surprised when our most sacred days are purposely ignored? Maybe Democrats should just come out and admit it—if you’re a Christian, you’re not part of their America. Why hide the contempt any longer?
