Democrats are jumping up and down, celebrating some recent state-level special elections. They say the numbers look bad for Republicans heading into the Senate races. Liberals love doom and gloom stories—especially when they think it means conservatives are about to lose power. But those raw numbers don’t tell the full story, no matter what the professional left wants you to believe.
It’s easy to cherry-pick special elections and pretend these are the final answer for November. Democrats want America to panic because they’ve seen their own leader, Kamala Harris, struggle to get votes. If the left claims they’re beating her numbers, they think it’s a win. But Harris is one of the least impressive politicians in recent memory. Outperforming her barely matters—unless you’re desperate for something to brag about.
The real question is: will smug Democrat elites be able to repeat this performance when the entire country is paying attention? Special elections are odd beasts. They’re low turnout, with little media coverage, and zero energy compared to regular elections. Republicans tend to save their firepower for the big show, not the practice rounds. The left ignores that fact because it doesn’t fit their narrative.
Let’s not forget, these are the same liberals who lecture Americans about democracy—then cheer on low-information special election wins like it’s the Super Bowl. When it comes to real, national votes, Republicans are energized to push back against the endless nonsense from D.C. coastal elites and their globalist friends. Trump supporters especially know how much is on the line. They won’t sit out in November.
Anyone bragging about the supposed Republican “collapse” is either lying or clueless. If Democrats think riding a few special election cycles means they’ve crushed the conservative heart of America, maybe they should keep dreaming. The real red wave doesn’t show up when nobody’s watching—it shows up when it matters most. Are liberals ready for that shock?
