New Yorkers were given plenty of warnings. But now they’re getting a firsthand look at the nightmare that unfolds when a radical, anti-police activist runs their city. Zohran Mamdani might be mayor now, but it’s every law-abiding resident who’s paying the price for his dangerous, anti-police agenda.
The streets of New York, once the envy of the world, are now filthy. Garbage is piling up because City Hall just can’t seem to get the basics right. After snowfalls, good luck trying to get down your street. Snow removal, the bare minimum for any functional mayor, is suddenly impossible. While hardworking families slip and slide trying to get to work, the city’s leaders shrug their shoulders.
But here’s what’s really infuriating: the mayor’s cozy visit with a man who pulled a knife on police and was actually charged with attempted assault. Instead of defending the officers who risked their lives to protect our neighborhoods, Mamdani throws his support behind the very people who threaten peace and order. Is it any surprise that respect for the law keeps dropping lower and lower?
This is what happens when ideology, not common sense, takes the wheel. Mamdani doesn’t want a fully staffed police department. He’s more interested in virtue signaling to his far-left base than protecting working-class New Yorkers. Liberals like Mamdani talk a big game about compassion and tolerance, but when real New Yorkers face real threats, they’re left with nothing but empty promises and unsafe streets.
How many more times do we have to watch these progressive experiments fail before common sense finally wins? Maybe when rats outnumber people, and the police office is just another abandoned storefront, New Yorkers will finally say enough is enough.
