Political violence has officially come to Main Street, North Carolina. This week, a Republican candidate’s home in Mecklenburg County became the latest battleground in the left’s war on conservatives. Aaron Marin, the ONLY Republican daring enough to run for county commission in District 1, was targeted in a drive-by shooting while his wife and kids huddled inside. Yes, you read that right – shots fired at a political candidate’s house in suburban America because he had the courage to put an “R” next to his name.

Let’s not kid ourselves. Police and even the FBI are now investigating, and the facts are clear: this was a targeted act, not just some random violence. Shell casings littered the driveway, cars got hit, even the family’s basketball hoop took bullets. But while Marin’s family was spared by sheer luck, this should TERRIFY anyone who thinks free elections are safe in Joe Biden’s America.

The talking heads and woke activists will do what they always do. They’ll ignore the story, or maybe call it rare, or just brush it off with the tired old, “Republicans are overreacting.” But the truth is right in our faces—these tactics have one goal: to frighten regular folks from stepping up, from running for office, from daring to challenge leftist rule. It’s all about intimidation, plain and simple.

Time and again, Democrats lecture us about “protecting democracy.” Yet, when a Republican’s home is riddled with gunfire, you won’t hear a peep from the leftist media. Imagine if this happened to a Democrat. There’d be wall-to-wall coverage, Hollywood would be lighting up Twitter, and there’d be speeches about “threats to our democracy.” But when the target is a conservative, suddenly “defending democracy” isn’t so important.

Here’s the hard truth: America is under assault—not from some foreign power, but from radical leftists who would rather silence their rivals with violence or fear than face them in an election. Conservatives will NOT be bullied into silence. Decent Americans must stand up, call out this insanity, and demand that these acts of political terror are prosecuted without mercy. If this is what the left means by “progress,” what on earth are they progressing toward?
