The Department of Homeland Security has finally taken a bold step to protect American citizens. For years, liberals have demanded open borders and weak security checks, putting everyday Americans at risk. Under this new rule, refugees must go through another security check after a year in the United States. If there’s anything suspicious, authorities can arrest and detain them until they’re sure everything checks out.
This should have been common sense from the start. Instead, globalist elites and clueless politicians have treated the U.S. like a doormat, letting people in and just hoping for the best. Security wasn’t much more than a rubber stamp. The left pushed for compassion at all costs, ignoring the dangers happening right in our neighborhoods.
Now, if a refugee leaves any red flags, they’re not just waved through. Law enforcement can step in and keep them off the streets until the truth comes out. Is this harsh? Maybe if you care more about feelings than safety. Real America knows that protecting our families comes before bending over backwards for refugees who haven’t fully earned our trust.
The same liberals who yell about “criminal justice reform” will cry about this so-called crackdown. But remember: these are the same people who claim a nation with borders is somehow immoral. Maybe if they cared half as much about citizens as they do about outsiders, we wouldn’t need new policies like this one.
The bottom line: the Trump administration is doing what the left refuses to do—put America first. Why is that so controversial? Maybe it’s because for liberals, “America First” has always been last on their list.
