Spanberger’s tax hike drives Boeing out of Virginia as Missouri cashes in on Democrat disaster

Once again, Democrats have proven that their so-called “moderate” promises are nothing more than smoke and mirrors. Virginia voters gave Abigail Spanberger a shot because she claimed she’d keep things affordable and look out for families. Well, she’s looking out for someone—just not for hardworking Virginians. Spanberger hit the ground running by shoving through a massive tax hike. Everything from a burger on your doorstep to a trip to the gym just got pricier for ordinary folks. She called it progress. Everybody else just calls it robbery.

These tax hikes aren’t some victimless money grab. Real people and real jobs pay the price. In record time, Boeing Defense, Space and Security is packing its bags, heading for the open arms of Missouri. Boeing isn’t a minor player. They bring high-tech talent, good wages, and a reputation that puts states on the map for innovation. But Spanberger and her socialist tax brigade made sure Virginia was no place for business, no matter how much they pretend to love working families.

Missouri, on the other hand, is celebrating. Leaders there understand that if you want good jobs, you don’t hit businesses with handouts and regulations. You let them grow, you get out of the way, and you welcome prosperity. It’s basic economics—something Democrats seem desperate to forget. While Virginians are left to pick up the pieces, Missouri is rolling out the red carpet and getting straight to work.

Spanberger’s team is quick to spin some fluffy language about “discipline” and “performance,” but the facts are staring everyone in the face. If major companies can’t survive under her far-left regime after just a couple of months, imagine how many others are secretly plotting their escape. If this is the “competence” Democrats love to brag about, America is in a world of trouble.

Now, as if the damage to Virginia wasn’t enough, the Democrats are letting Spanberger be their star voice in response to President Trump’s upcoming State of the Union. The Trump economy is roaring right now, and yet Democrats are trotting out the leader who’s been a disaster for job creators in her own backyard. It’s as if they want to remind voters that you can vote for American success—or you can vote for the party that drives business out and leaves Main Street picking up the tab. When will these liberal politicians finally face the music and admit their “progress” just isn’t working for anyone but their radical donor class?
