Corruption isn’t just a problem in faraway countries anymore. It’s happening right here, in the heart of American business—rotting our reputation and giving fuel to every America-hating globalist and radical leftist looking to tear us down. A senior executive at Corsa Coal thought he could buy his way to the top, greasing the palms of Egyptian government lackeys just to win contracts worth nearly $140 million. This wasn’t some victimless “white-collar” crime. This was a scheme so crooked it even included laundering millions through shady banks at home and in the United Arab Emirates, all while clogging up honest companies trying to compete.
While Washington loves to talk a big game about accountability, real Americans know how these so-called “elites” operate. They’re shameless when it comes to putting their wallets before their country. This coal VP, from his plush Knoxville office, threw American values out the window—lining his own pockets with over $200,000 in kickbacks while handing out millions in dirty “sales commissions” as bribes. And where was the leftist media? More interested in protecting their own than calling out the rot in their bedrock institutions.
The Justice Department claims it wants to “protect our interests” and “combat foreign corruption.” Funny, isn’t it, how they’re always a few years—and several hundreds of millions of dollars—late to the party? How many law-abiding American companies lost good jobs and real contracts because some suit in a boardroom decided to play global puppet master? The real losers here are the working-class Americans left out in the cold while globalist deals pad the portfolios of the rich and connected.
And what’s worse, the left and their globalist allies keep pretending that more government oversight is the answer. They want to tangle small businesses in red tape, but somehow, these scandals always manage to slither right through the cracks. Maybe it’s because the people making the rules are the same ones cashing in, or maybe they just don’t care as long as America’s image takes another hit on the world stage. Either way, average Americans end up paying the price for these “champions of diversity and governance” selling out our interests to corrupt foreign bureaucrats.
Every time a corrupt executive gets caught, we’re told, “There’s justice.” But don’t hold your breath. The real sickness is the globalist mindset infecting boardrooms and bureaucracies alike. The left can shout about “equity” all they want—but as long as corruption earns a seat at the table, nobody’s keeping score for ordinary Americans. When will they start locking up these self-serving elites for good, instead of just slapping them on the wrist? Or is protecting the global gravy train still the real priority in Washington?
