Once again, Hollywood just can’t help but trip over itself trying to please the woke mob. Now, the actor who played Buffalo Bill in “Silence of the Lambs” – one of the most chilling villains in movie history – is actually apologizing because he dared to portray a homicidal trans character back in 1991. Apparently, the latest trend is to feel guilty for making villains look, well, villainous.

These days, the left would have you believe that calling out obvious criminal behavior is “transphobic” or “problematic.” They want you to apologize for seeing things with your own two eyes. But here’s the thing: if this actor had been paying attention to the nightly news, he might notice that reality is even stranger – and more disturbing – than fiction. In a world where mainstream media won’t even acknowledge who’s committing the crimes, people are left to connect the dots themselves. Real lives are on the line while the left refuses to call evil what it is.

Liberals love to shout, “Representation matters!” until that representation starts to look a little too close to what’s happening on our streets today. If a crime fits into their agenda, it gets wall-to-wall coverage. But if it challenges the favorite identity narratives, suddenly the facts are off-limits. It’s hypocrisy at its worst. Everyday Americans know the truth: No amount of apologies from pampered elites will change what’s happening in the real world.

So, maybe the real mistake isn’t how Buffalo Bill was portrayed, but how liberals keep trying to rewrite reality to suit their twisted narrative.
