Bernie Sanders brings failed socialism back to California and taxpayers are paying the price

Bernie Sanders is at it again. Whenever he’s got a bad policy or a radical idea, he hops on a plane and heads straight for California. He treats the state like his personal playground for failed socialism. Yet, for all the media fawning, his “solutions” are nothing but recycled nonsense that’s already let Californians down.

California is drowning in homelessness, crime, and high taxes. What does Bernie do? He strolls in with the same tired promises of free everything. Universal this, guaranteed that—paid for with money that just isn’t there. Of course, he skips over the part where government handouts and sky-high taxes have only made a mess in cities like Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Liberals in California keep falling for the act. They cheer for Sanders as if he’s selling hope, but he’s handing out empty slogans and crushing bills. People are fleeing the state in droves for a reason. California used to be the land of opportunity. Now, thanks to left-wing policies, it’s become a warning for the rest of the country. Bernie looks around and claims his socialism can fix things, when it’s socialism that started the mess.

It’s almost funny. Sanders rails against the “rich,” but somehow his brand of politics always helps the elites and hurts working families. Big tech billionaires keep making fortunes, while middle-class Americans get punished with inflation and fewer job prospects. When Bernie preaches about fairness, what he really means is government control. That’s not fairness—it’s a one-way ticket to more bureaucrats telling people how to live.

Anyone with common sense can see Bernie Sanders isn’t a political savior—he’s a traveling salesman of bad ideas. Californians have tried his way, and it’s left their state broken and bankrupt. So why keep letting this snake oil salesman tour the country, selling misery dressed up as justice? Time to slam the door on his empty promises and remind America what real freedom looks like.
