The liberal media is always quick to jump on any tragedy if it checks the right boxes: a white shooter, a gun, and a narrative they can twist to push their anti-gun and anti-American agenda. But when the details don’t add up, suddenly the mainstream news outlets go silent. Case in point: the shocking ice rink shooting in Pawtucket, Rhode Island—a domestic horror show caught on video—which the corporate press barely touched because the facts tangled up the left’s favorite talking points.
This wasn’t your run-of-the-mill headline the media drool over. The shooter was a man calling himself a woman—a transgender individual who slaughtered his ex-wife, his own son, and left others fighting for their lives, before taking the coward’s way out and killing himself. We’re talking about a person who had Nazi tattoos, posted Hitler fanboy nonsense, and was estranged from his own family for being completely unhinged. But because this killer identified as transgender, the story doesn’t fit the liberal playbook. There’s no way for them to use this bloodbath to attack conservatives, blame Trump, or call for more gun grabs—so what do they do? Bury it, ignore it, hope you forget it.
But it gets even darker: the killer and his ex-wife were actually first cousins once removed. Yes, you read that right. They tied the knot in a state that green-lights cousin marriages, with tangled family lines that sound like something out of a soap opera. Just imagine if the roles were reversed, or if the shooter wasn’t part of a protected liberal identity—this story would blast across every screen, with politicians falling over themselves to demand new laws and accuse Middle America of being hateful bigots.
Let’s be clear: this man didn’t snap because of conservative rhetoric, MAGA flags, or the Constitution. He was unstable, twisted, and had been a walking red flag for years. Even his own daughter kept her distance. Yet, when someone with ties to the radical left or with a lifestyle the woke crowd loves gets caught up in evil, the media scrambles for a cover-up like a pack of cockroaches when the lights come on.
This shooting exposes everything wrong with today’s media elites and their twisted priorities. They see tragedies like this as opportunities—not to mourn, not to reflect, but to exploit and divide. When the facts threaten their house of cards, they shut the door and pretend nothing ever happened. How many more stories get buried just because the truth doesn’t help their narrative? Maybe it’s time Americans started asking who really benefits from the stories we never get to hear.
