FBI Director Kash Patel just proved what’s wrong in Washington. While working-class Americans are struggling to pay for groceries and gas, the elite get to take lavish trips overseas—with your tax dollars. Patel hopped on a Justice Department jet, bound for Italy. His mission? Not fighting international crime, but catching a hockey game at the Winter Olympics.
Who else thinks this stinks to high heaven? If you’re an average person, you can’t even get a basic government service without standing in line for hours. But the moment a well-connected bureaucrat wants to watch sports in Europe, the sky’s the limit—literally. The Big Government crowd never lets crisis go to waste… unless there’s free airfare and front-row Olympic seats in the mix.
Liberals keep telling us that the federal budget is too tight to fix the border, plug holes in Social Security, or put law enforcement in dangerous neighborhoods. Where’s all the money going? Apparently, it’s fueling a parade of taxpayer-funded vacations for DC insiders. While the FBI should be cracking down on crime, its top official is sipping cappuccino in Rome and cheering for hockey.
Let’s not pretend this is about national security either. Unless the Olympic puck has FBI secrets on it, there’s no reason for our Director to be anywhere near the rink. But when you’re part of the globalist club, the rules don’t apply. They pick their perks over protecting our country every single time. The message? The little guy pays while the big shots play.
Americans deserve better than out-of-touch elites galivanting around the world on their dime. Real patriotism means standing up for our own, not cashing in government flights for Olympic entertainment. When will our so-called leaders put America first instead of themselves? Maybe when pigs fly—or when the FBI Director buys his own airline ticket.
