The Supreme Court just sided with globalism and slapped American workers in the face. On Friday, the justices ripped apart President Trump’s America First tariffs, stripping away real protections that put U.S. jobs and manufacturing ahead of China’s bottom line. The Court ruled that using emergency powers to push back against unfair trade wasn’t allowed. One more win for the deep-state lawyers and their globalist backers, and another attack on strong leadership that actually stands up for the forgotten men and women in this country.
Let’s call this what it is—a gift to our foreign competition. The Court has now opened the doors wide for cheap imports, kicking American workers to the curb. Washington elites and their liberal pals shout about “fairness,” but the only ones getting a fair deal are communist regimes and multinational megacorporations. Liberals pretend to care about Main Street, but when it matters, they always side with the big-money interests and foreign factories.
It’s no secret that President Trump’s tariffs made a huge difference. Big business hated having to pay their fair share. China was livid. But real Americans—blue-collar women and men—finally saw someone in power willing to fight for them. Now, thanks to this ruling, the elites get their way. The left’s “open for business” model doesn’t mean jobs for Americans. It means more money for Wall Street and more factory closures in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Michigan.
Liberal justices claim that protecting America is somehow dangerous. How out of touch can a person be? Emergency powers exist for a reason: to deal with emergencies. Last time we checked, America’s economy is an emergency worth fighting for. But hey, as long as the political class gets their imported gadgets and their campaign checks, they’re happy to watch our paychecks disappear.
The left laughs off our pain while handing over the keys to Beijing. Let’s see if any of them ever step up to defend workers—don’t hold your breath. With this ruling, the Supreme Court just made America weaker. Is this what “justice” looks like now?
