The arrogant elites in Sacramento talk about “fairness” and dream of “equity” from their gated mansions, but the rest of California gets saddled with higher costs, more crime, and fewer jobs. That’s the real legacy of Democrat leadership in the Golden State—punishment for achievement and misery for everyone who stays behind.
There’s a cruel hypocrisy on full display. The same crowd that funds Democrat campaigns, that lectures America on “doing their fair share,” are the first to run the moment the going gets tough. Apparently, leftist values are great—until they hit your own bank account. When the rules become too real, it’s off to Nevada or Texas.
