A California judge just sent a loud, horrifying message to parents: Children are now the property of the radical left. This week, a San Diego court ordered Rady Children’s Hospital to resume so-called “gender-affirming care” for minors — including irreversible surgeries and powerful hormone treatments. That’s right, after the hospital tried to stop these dangerous procedures, the state’s own attorney general swooped in, waving lawsuits and threatening severe penalties until doctors went back to mutilating perfectly healthy kids. Apparently, protecting children is now illegal in Gavin Newsom’s California.
Let’s be clear: this isn’t about healthcare. It’s about pushing an extremist agenda no matter how many young lives are shattered along the way. We’re not talking about choices made by grown adults. These are children, some not even old enough to drive, being railroaded into life-altering operations — double mastectomies, sterilizing drugs, the works. California’s politicians and their activist friends in the courts want all opposition crushed. Try to stop the madness, and they’ll drag you into court and run you through the wringer.
Rady Children’s Hospital tried to protect itself — and its patients — after a brave detransitioner won two million dollars in a lawsuit. A teenage girl was talked into a double mastectomy. Now she lives with permanent scars and loss. If anything, the hospital’s move away from “gender-affirming” treatments proved that even the professionals know this is a ticking time bomb for suits and settlements. Never mind the pain and regret; the left only cares about making sure their bizarre experiments on youth go full-speed ahead, legal or not.
And what’s the Democrats’ solution? Sue, threaten, and stomp their feet until everyone falls in line. Freedom of conscience, freedom for doctors to practice medicine ethically—forget about it. Under the left, everyone must bow to the trans agenda, no questions asked. They’ll even tangle up hospitals with federal rules, state laws, and activist judges to make sure nobody can say “no” to these dangerous procedures, even if it means jeopardizing crucial funding.
Maybe the real question isn’t why Democrats are fighting so hard to keep these surgeries going — it’s how many more children will have to pay the ultimate price for their arrogance and hypocrisy. Why do liberals only care about “choice” when it means taking something away from innocent kids? How many lives must be ruined before America says, “Enough!”?
