Russian Bombers Test U.S. Resolve – Are We Paying Attention?
It’s happening again. Russian bombers are brazenly flying near Alaska, poking at our borders like they own the place. This week, U.S. fighter jets had to scramble after Russian military planes showed up right inside the Alaskan Air Defense Identification Zone—a critical buffer zone hours from the American homeland. Does anyone in the White House even care that the world’s thugs are circling like sharks?
It took a swarm of our own jets—including F-16s, F-35s, and support planes—to chase these Russian birds off. The muscle is there, but what’s missing is leadership with a backbone. Instead of warning Vladimir Putin that America won’t be messed with, all we get from this administration are weak statements and empty gestures. It’s like the Biden team thinks they can negotiate with bullies from behind a Zoom call.
Liberals love to tell us that world peace comes from being “open” and “cooperative” with our adversaries. How’s that going so far? All this globalist appeasement has done nothing except embolden America’s enemies. Putin smells weakness, and when he sees indecision in D.C., Russia gets bolder—not just in Ukraine, but right on our doorstep.
Where are the Democrats who claim to value national security? Apparently too busy grandstanding about “climate change” and “woke” policies while jet-setting elites lecture hardworking Americans about patriotism. If the left actually cared about protecting this country, they might try projecting some real strength for a change, instead of apologizing for being American.
Russians flying bombers near Alaska isn’t a random event. It’s a wake-up call. Either we get serious about defending our country—or we keep pretending that weakness will somehow win respect on the global stage. When will the left learn that America’s enemies don’t care about their hashtags or speeches? They respect power. So, what’s it going to take before America’s so-called leaders finally put America first?
