The Supreme Court just dealt a major blow to America’s backbone—our workers and industries. By rejecting President Trump’s tariffs under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act, the Court has thrown open the floodgates for yet another round of corporate handouts and globalist victories. Who wins here? Certainly not the Americans who’ve seen their jobs shipped overseas and their factories shuttered for decades. No, once again, it’s the big corporations and their lawyers who are scrambling, not to create jobs, but to grab refund checks for all the tariffs they paid last year.
This ruling exposes the true priorities of the elite in Washington. When President Trump took a stand to protect American steel, autos, and manufacturing from unfair foreign competition, the left cried foul. Liberals called it reckless and “anti-trade,” as if caring for the American worker is somehow a sin. Now, with the Supreme Court taking their side, these same liberal interest groups stand back as U.S. customs coughs up millions—maybe billions—in refunds to big business. Where was this concern for American citizens losing paychecks to cheap imports?
It’s open season for foreign lobbyists and globalist corporations. They’re lining up to get their piece of the pie, racing to the government for money back on tariffs meant to make America strong. Meanwhile, real American families get left in the dust. Why is it that whenever the left gets its way, the only folks cashing in are those already sitting pretty at the top?
Let’s be real—these so-called “emergency powers” were used to finally put America first, to fight for real workers, not the boardrooms on Wall Street. The Supreme Court, with help from anti-Trump voices, has yanked that tool away. The message is clear: the needs of foreign competitors and giant corporations matter more to the establishment than protecting the nation’s own economic security.
This is yet another example of the left’s twisted priorities. When it comes to standing up to China or defending American workers, they’d rather watch our industries rot—so long as their globalist buddies keep getting paid. How many times will our leaders side with the elite over real patriots? Maybe one day, the folks in Washington will remember which country they’re actually supposed to serve.
