Once again, America’s so-called “highest court” has tripped over its own shoelaces. The Supreme Court just told President Trump he doesn’t have the power to put tariffs on foreign products when there’s an emergency—something past presidents did without fuss. Liberals and out-of-touch judges celebrated, of course, because anything that weakens America’s grip on its own economy is exactly what the globalists want.
This is a dangerous game. America’s prosperity and security count on the ability to hit foreign countries right where it hurts when they undercut our workers. Tariffs are one of the last tools we have to stop China, Mexico, and every other nation that thinks it can take a piece of the American dream for free. When the Supreme Court ties the president’s hands, it’s American workers who get the raw end of the deal.
What’s even worse is the Court ignored the obvious: What about all the money Americans paid under those tariffs? The judges didn’t even bother to explain if hardworking Americans would see their refunds. It’s as if their fancy degrees and black robes make them forget about real people who pay real bills. When Trump asked for answers, all he got was silence—and that’s criminal.
The left is thrilled anytime American power gets taken out of American hands. These activists in robes pretend to care about the “rule of law,” but really, they want to erase the leadership and patriotism that built this country. When the elites celebrate their legal games, regular folks are left holding the bag.
Why does it always seem like the real emergency is the crowd running our courts and institutions? Patriots can see the truth—the liberal establishment will always defend the interests of global elites before they protect American jobs. With decisions like this, it’s clear there’s something rotten in the state of Washington.
