Loyal conservatives across America are shaking their heads today, wondering what happened to the Supreme Court justices we thought were on our side. President Trump, the man who gave us a fighting chance to restore sanity to the courts, is “ashamed” – and who can blame him? Two of his own appointees, Neil Gorsuch and Amy Coney Barrett, turned their backs on the America First agenda by siding against Trump’s use of tariffs to protect American jobs and industries. If anyone still thought the so-called “conservative” Court was a reliable backstop against globalist nonsense, think again.
How is it possible that the very justices chosen to stand up for the Constitution, law and order, and American workers are now blocking the President’s power to defend our borders and our economy? The answer is simple: the swamp runs deeper than anyone realized. Special interests and leftist talking points have infected even the highest court. Instead of standing up to a world that wants to take advantage of America, these justices wave the white flag and tie the hands of a President who actually cares about working families.
Make no mistake, tariffs weren’t just some political stunt. They were smart, tough policies that forced China and other hostile nations to play fair. Liberals screamed and cried when President Trump fought for American steel, cars, farmers, and factories. But real Americans cheered. Now, thanks to this new ruling, those same globalist elites are rubbing their hands with glee. The Supreme Court is telling them: go ahead, keep ripping off the United States.
The International Emergency Economic Powers Act exists for a reason. When the country faces threats—economic or otherwise—the President has to act. But apparently, the high court has forgotten that. The left keeps whining about “checks and balances,” but all they really want is to block any action that puts America first. The real power they fear is the power of common sense and patriotism. These ivory tower decisions hurt Main Street while helping Beijing and Brussels.
This is what happens when the establishment worms its way back into the conservative movement. Gorsuch and Barrett had a golden opportunity to show backbone. Instead, they chose to impress the cocktail set in D.C. and the international lobbyists who hate Trump, hate our country, and hate you. If so-called conservatives can’t be counted on to defend American sovereignty, why did we work so hard to put them in office? Maybe it’s time for a new generation of leaders—ones who actually mean what they say.
