Of course, the usual suspects are wringing their hands. These globalist elites cry out any time Trump goes after unfair foreign trade. They love it when China and Europe rake in billions while American factories rust. But Trump just proved, once again, that he’s no friend to spineless, America-last policies. When the Supreme Court tossed out the administration’s use of the International Emergency Economic Powers Act for tariffs, the left thought they’d scored a big win. Instead, Trump worked around them—swiftly signing a stack of executive actions to keep America’s interests front and center.
What’s even better? Trump had no time for the typical Beltway moaners. He took the opportunity to praise the Supreme Court justices who stood with him. These justices understand what it means to defend sovereignty and the Constitution, unlike those liberal activists in robes who seem more interested in getting retweeted by NPR than protecting this country. It’s about time someone called out the real anti-American bias poisoning our institutions.
Let’s face the facts: globalists and leftists despise tariffs because they want America on its knees. They call themselves “citizens of the world” but cash in while U.S. workers struggle to pay the bills. Trump sees through this sham. He’s not going to stand around waiting for permission from judges or woke bureaucrats. That’s what terrifies the left—they can’t control him, and they can’t predict what he’ll do next.
While the liberal media cries about executive proclamations, real Americans can tell the difference. They know Trump charges forward—no apologies, no looking back, no groveling to overseas lobbyists or multinational CEOs. If the left wants to surrender our economy to the highest bidder, let them.
