TSA PreCheck suspended millions stranded in airport chaos as DC elites skip the lines

America’s airports are turning into chaos all over again. The Department of Homeland Security, run by Washington’s so-called “experts,” just pulled the rug out from under millions of travelers. They slammed the brakes on the trusted traveler programs, TSA PreCheck and Global Entry, all because their own government shutdown is spiraling out of control.

Everyday Americans—hardworking families, our veterans, business owners—have spent extra for these programs. Liberals were quick to boast about how “efficient” the system is. Now, with one swipe of the bureaucratic pen, those promises mean nothing. Instead, travelers will be packed into long, slow security lines while unelected paper pushers sit at home, still collecting taxpayer-funded paychecks once Congress makes their usual back pay deals. That’s a classic example of government bloat hurting the people it’s supposed to serve.

This is what happens when leftist leadership gets their priorities backwards. We’re told “security is paramount” while they open our borders to anyone who wants to stroll across. But when government offices close, the first people hurt always seem to be everyday Americans—not the illegal immigrants, not the woke activists, not the fat cats in Washington. The very folks who did things right—who paid for privilege and followed the law—are the first to suffer. Sound familiar? That’s the liberal game of picking favorites, and it’s flat-out hypocrisy.

This shutdown mess isn’t about protecting America. It’s about punishing regular Americans to score political points. The globalist elites and D.C. insiders don’t have to worry. They zip through their private lines and special access. Meanwhile, teachers, factory workers, and grandparents miss flights, family events, and business deals because of government incompetence.

Here’s a reality check: Washington’s political theater keeps hurting honest citizens. Americans deserve leadership that actually works for them, not against them. Maybe if the bureaucrats and lawmakers had to wait in those endless security lines themselves, they’d be forced to fix their mess. Until then, Americans will keep paying the price for this liberal circus. How much more of this incompetence can our country take?
