Another tragedy struck Rhode Island on Monday—a fatal shooting at the Dennis M. Lynch Arena. Already, the media vultures are circling, desperate to spin the narrative for their own political gain. With hardly any facts, some on the left can’t help but try linking this shooter to the MAGA movement. But the truth is far messier and much more inconvenient for their favorite storyline.

Let’s set the record straight before anti-gun activists and woke talking heads start blaming conservatives for yet another act of violence. The shooter wasn’t the poster child for right-wing politics. In fact, his social media profile was a confusing mess—a jumbled explosion of contradicting, incoherent beliefs. One minute, he was parroting leftist slogans; the next, he was ranting against establishment Democrats. It’s as if he soaked in every fringe idea on the internet and spit it back out at random.

But that won’t stop liberals and their media puppets from ignoring the facts. Their go-to playbook is to smear conservatives at every turn. If a criminal picked up a copy of the Constitution once, they’ll use that to paint the entire conservative movement as complicit. It never matters that real Americans reject violence and chaos.
