Virginia Democrats push for endless ballot counting to tilt elections

Virginia Democrats just can’t help themselves. They’re back at it again, trying to change the rules of the game while the rest of us play by them. Two new bills have popped up in Richmond, and if you thought election shenanigans were a thing of the past, guess again. These Democrats want to give themselves more time—three extra days—to keep counting mail-in ballots after Election Day has ended. Why? Because their political machine depends on chaos and confusion.

Everyone knows Election Day is supposed to mean something. It’s the day Americans head to the polls and make their voices heard. But Democrats don’t seem satisfied with clear results. They want a never-ending election process that drags on for days, as if it’s completely normal to “find” new ballots days after the polls close. This isn’t about fairness or democracy. It’s about buying more time to fudge the numbers until they get the answer they want.

Let’s get real: the more you drag out counting, the less trust people have in elections. It’s common sense. When ballots come trickling in after the fact, who can blame Americans for feeling suspicious? It’s open season for ballot harvesting, bureaucratic errors, and good ol’ fashioned mischief—anything to pull the results their way. The globalist elites cheering this on from their ivory towers don’t care if small-town Virginians end up doubting the whole system.

The left loves to act like caring about election integrity is somehow “anti-democratic.” But it’s the Democrats who keep playing with the rules and moving the finish line. They want America to look more like Europe, where elections drag on forever and results come out whenever the bureaucrats feel like it. No thanks. That’s not the American way. Americans believe in election day—not “election week” or “election month.”

Every single Republican in Virginia and across the country should be sounding the alarm. If these bills pass, every tight race in Virginia will turn into a drawn-out circus. That’s the last thing working families need. Voters deserve clear, quick results—not political games and shady backroom deals. If Democrats are so sure of their ideas, why are they always trying to change the rules?

If Democrats kept losing, would they just keep extending deadlines until they win? Don’t be fooled—this is about power, not “access.” Americans should demand better from their leaders. Election Day should mean something. Or do Democrats really think we can’t see through their tricks?
