As cartel chaos rips through Mexico, the left keeps looking the other way. On Sunday, more than a third of Mexico erupted in pure terror after the government confirmed the death of CJNG’s ruthless leader, ‘El Mencho.’ Instead of a sigh of relief, all hell broke loose. The cartel’s foot soldiers torched cars, fired guns, and blocked highways from the Pacific Coast straight up to the Texas border. Everyday citizens—families, kids, workers—once again found themselves trapped in a nightmare of violence.
Liberals claim open borders and “compassion” policies keep America and Mexico safer. What a joke. While Biden’s bureaucrats and their globalist pals are busy wagging fingers at hardliners, cartels have seized control over huge chunks of Mexican territory. They hold entire states hostage. People aren’t simply living under a shadow—they’re running for their lives. All this chaos sits right on America’s doorstep, just a few miles away. And the supposed adults in the room do nothing but wring hands and demand more “understanding.”
Cartel-driven violence isn’t new to Mexico, but the level of mayhem exploding after the death of one criminal kingpin should wake up even the most stubborn Leftist. How much more proof do we need that soft-on-crime, “woke” policies don’t work? Does anyone really believe appeasement will tame drug lords and human traffickers? While elites sip lattes in D.C. and Europe, families along the border live in constant fear—thanks to failed foreign policy, open borders, and years of looking the other way.
This isn’t just a Mexican problem. Every time chaos breaks out down south, ripples of violence, drugs, and instability crash into the U.S. That border wall liberals mocked suddenly doesn’t sound so crazy, does it? American communities bear the brunt while Washington politicians refuse to get serious about crime. But why should they care? Their gated neighborhoods are safe. It’s the everyday American who pays the price.
The so-called “compassion” from the Left is nothing more than cowardice dressed up as virtue. While cartels run wild, the only thing progressive politicians seem to fight for is keeping our borders open even wider. Where does their “human rights” agenda stand when children are hiding from gunfire just miles from our own country? Maybe it’s time to stop placating criminals and start defending our people, our values, and our sovereignty. But don’t expect today’s liberals to get it—after all, they’re too busy cheering for policies that turn chaos into the new normal.
