A teacher in the Baldwinsville Central School District was placed on leave simply for helping students start a club connected to Turning Point USA, a well-known conservative youth organization. Think about it: A teacher supports some freedom-loving kids who want to get involved, speak up, and challenge the leftist status quo. Suddenly, the school cracks down and throws the teacher out. Is this what public education is supposed to look like?
Of course, the district hides behind so-called “personnel privacy rules.” They send vague letters home, hoping parents won’t ask questions. Sorry, but that excuse doesn’t cut it. Everyone knows what’s really going on. If these students wanted to launch a radical climate protest or paint antifa signs, every woke administrator would be hand-delivering balloons and cookies. But mention Turning Point, and the school hits the panic button. The radical left that controls our public schools is terrified of students who actually think for themselves.
The real reason for this suspension is simple: liberals are scared of losing their grip on young minds. They want American kids to be brainwashed from kindergarten to college. Independent ideas—especially patriotic ones—are not allowed in their carefully guarded kingdom. Let teens support socialism, drag shows, or globalism, and it’s a celebration. Let a few bold students talk about freedom, faith, or the Constitution, and suddenly it’s a “problem.”
Let’s be clear: the left’s hypocrisy has reached a boiling point. They whine about inclusion and diversity, but only when it serves their agenda. The second a teacher supports a pro-America student group, they cry for an “investigation” and a paid witch hunt. Why do these power-hungry administrators have so much to hide? Are they that scared a few teenagers might start asking real questions?
This isn’t about rules. It’s about crushing conservative values and silencing anyone who stands up for them. If the left thinks they can stop the next generation from loving America, they’re in for a rude awakening. Maybe it’s time to ask: why do liberals fear freedom of speech so much?
