Washington has hit a new low. While Americans are working hard and paying the price for leftist failures, DC is quietly looking the other way as top leaders go under the microscope for corruption. This time, it’s Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer and her husband, Dr. Shawn DeRemer, in the hot seat. DC police recently stormed the Labor Secretary’s office after ugly accusations surfaced. If you blinked, you might have missed it—because the political elite and their media lapdogs barely gave it a minute of coverage.
Think about this: not only is the Office of Inspector General digging into alleged misconduct tied to Secretary Chavez-DeRemer herself, but now the spotlight is shining on her husband. The allegations are serious—exactly the kind of mess that would have Democrats screaming for heads to roll…if it were a Republican. But with one of their own on the chopping block, suddenly everyone is too busy talking about tariffs or waiting for the Supreme Court to pull another magic trick.
What’s worse? The media’s rapid fire about-face. The moment this damning scandal hit the news, coverage vanished, like clockwork. It’s almost as if protecting powerful liberals matters more than telling Americans the truth. Let’s be real—it’s just another example of Democrat incompetence and hypocrisy. They promise transparency and accountability, but the moment the heat gets turned up, they run for cover and change the subject.
Meanwhile, middle-class families are supposed to trust these folks to look out for the American worker? Give me a break. These are the same elites who can’t even keep their own house in order. When the watchdogs sniff out rot, the establishment clams up and hopes the storm will pass.
Americans deserve answers. If this scandal involved an America First conservative, there would be wall-to-wall coverage and demands for resignation. Instead, the left hides behind their media friends and prays the public will forget. Maybe next time, instead of sweeping problems under the rug, the liberals in charge should try some good old-fashioned honesty. Or is that too much to ask from this crowd?
