California Democrats are at it again—talking big about “affordability” while digging an even deeper hole for regular people. The same elites who made daily life painfully expensive for working families now act shocked, as if high prices just fell from the sky. It’s the height of hypocrisy. Democrats gather in San Francisco, the playground for the wealthy, to talk about the struggles they forced on everyone else.
These politicians pretend to care, but their policies tell a different story. Out-of-touch liberals push for endless taxes and suffocating regulations. They slap fees on gas, housing, groceries, and just about everything else. Every new rule or tax means more money out of your wallet. Meanwhile, Democrat lawmakers live comfortably and pretend they’re heroes. Regular people face skyrocketing rent, unaffordable energy bills, and punishing taxes thanks to these so-called “solutions.”
Let’s not ignore the facts—California used to stand for opportunity and growth. Today, it’s a warning to America. People are fleeing by the thousands. Middle-class families can’t afford to live where they grew up. But did the Democrats at their fancy convention take responsibility? Of course not. They blame everyone and everything: greedy corporations, climate change, even the voters themselves. Anything but their own disastrous policies.
This is liberal playacting at its worst. Democrats create a crisis, hold a public spectacle to “address” it, and then double down on the same failed ideas. It’s nothing but smoke and mirrors—globalist interests and political insiders profit, while everyday Californians foot the bill. And who’s left out every time? Hardworking, patriotic Americans who just want a fair shot.
How long will voters put up with being lectured by the same politicians who made life unaffordable in the first place? Maybe California Democrats should stop throwing conventions and start fixing the mess they made. Or better yet, step aside—and let leaders who actually care about American families clean house.
