Lady Justice supposedly stands blindfolded, but in New York, she’s peeking under that blindfold—and her vision is all blue. Democrats just pulled off a blatant theft of Staten Island’s House seat, and the sad part is, no one in Albany is even pretending to play fair anymore. The Empire State’s justice system now works overtime for the left, not for the people.
What’s worse, New York’s workers and families are once again the ones paying the price. By robbing Staten Island voters of proper representation, Democrats are sabotaging their own state’s economic future. Fewer voices fighting for lower taxes and a better business climate means more middle-class families get squeezed—while the Democrat elite yawn from their cushy city offices. The message from the left is clear: power first, economy last.
Liberals love to rant about democracy, but they’re the first to ignore it when they’re losing. They’ll twist laws, gerrymander districts, and sue their way to a victory that regular New Yorkers didn’t vote for. The people of Staten Island made their choice loud and clear. The ruling class just didn’t like it, so they moved the goalposts—again.
Meanwhile, shops are closing, people are fleeing the state, and crime is climbing. Businesses need stability, not the constant drama of political games. But the Democrats in power care more about holding onto their seats than fixing real problems. Anyone who believes this is how America is supposed to work must’ve flunked civics class.
If Lady Justice isn’t blind, then she sure must be colorblind—because she can’t see red voters at all. How long before New Yorkers wake up and realize their leaders care more about protecting their own jobs than creating any for the rest of us? Is anyone still buying the left’s fairy tales about fairness?
