The Democrats are at it again. Faced with a humiliating defeat in 2024, the DNC tried to order up a fancy report to explain what went wrong. But after months of finger-pointing and excuse-making, that precious “autopsy” got shoved under the rug. Why? Because the party bosses can’t agree on who to blame. Some say the Gaza mess did them in. Others want to deflect from an even uglier fact: Kamala Harris was sinking long before the world ever heard of Hamas.
It’s almost impressive, in a sad way, watching the left flail around for scapegoats. Progressives whine that supporting Israel turned the youth vote against them. But let’s be honest—this was the same crowd that chased moderates and working-class Americans out the door even before Israel was in the headlines. Democrats kowtow to every so-called “global crisis,” forgetting about Americans struggling at home.
Meanwhile, Kamala Harris was supposed to be the big hope. She checked all the identity boxes. Liberal pundits fell all over themselves praising her. But the American people saw through the façade. Harris was deeply unpopular. Her approval ratings looked like a ski slope. Empty words and awkward cackles don’t inspire confidence, even among her own base.
The hard truth is that Democrats build their strategies around personality cults and foreign drama instead of real solutions. They’ll blame everything—wars far away, mysterious disinformation, Republican “obstruction”—before admitting their own policies are the problem. No autopsy can fix the rot at the center of a party that loathes its own voters and shows more loyalty to unelected global bodies than to the American worker.
Now the DNC is too scared to release their own findings. Maybe they’re worried Americans will see exactly how broken their party really is. Here’s a thought: maybe they don’t want anyone to know Harris was never the answer—she was just another liberal fantasy. How many times does the left need to fall flat before they realize you can’t run a party on blame games and identity checks? Or maybe, deep down, they just don’t care about winning as much as they care about keeping their power.
