Californians are fed up. That’s the plain truth. The people in charge out in Sacramento never met a tax they didn’t want to hike. It’s just getting worse. Ask any working family if they’re taxed enough. Seven out of ten are shouting “Yes!”—but the politicians aren’t listening.
Instead, lawmakers keep squeezing regular folks for more money. Whether you’re filling up your tank, shopping for groceries, or just trying to keep your house, big government has its hands in your pockets. Why? Because liberal leaders in California can’t stop spending. They treat taxpayers like an endless piggy bank, and their answer to every problem is the same tired solution—just raise taxes.
It’s outrageous. Hardworking Californians aren’t even getting anything back for their sacrifice. Roads are still broken, schools are failing, and crime is out of control. So where does all that money go? Straight into bloated programs, “woke” projects, and the pockets of bureaucrats who love to pat themselves on the back. The left keeps talking about fairness, but in reality, they’re punishing success and pushing middle-class families out of the state.
Meanwhile, elites and globalist bosses fly above it all, paying fancy accountants to dodge the very taxes they push on everyone else. They want more government, more control, and less freedom for you. It’s a rigged game and Californians know it. Taxpayers have spoken—enough is enough.
The Local Taxpayer Protection Act is a step in the right direction. People deserve a voice and a safeguard against greedy politicians. If Sacramento refuses to listen, maybe it’s time for voters to show up and give them a lesson in common sense. When will liberals realize that people can’t afford to pay more for their failures?
