UN human rights hypocrisy exposed again why America should finally ignore the global elite clown show

The United Nations Just Proved—Again—Why Americans Shouldn’t Take It Seriously

The latest stunt from the United Nations should have every freedom-loving American rolling their eyes. The so-called “global watchdog” is wringing its hands about human rights abuses around the world, acting shocked—as if this news just fell from the sky. The fact is, the U.N. is the last organization on Earth with any moral authority on this issue.

While the U.N. Secretary-General tries to lecture the world on the horrors happening in Gaza, Ukraine, and Sudan, he conveniently ignores the toothless nature of his own organization. The Human Rights Council is supposed to protect innocent people from tyrants. Instead, it’s packed with the very same regimes that commit the worst abuses—and the U.N. pretends it can fix global problems with a few “strong statements” and endless chatter.

It’s hard to take anything the U.N. says seriously when its Human Rights Council includes the likes of China, Cuba, and Russia. China runs re-education camps, surveils its own people, and smashes any hope of liberty in Hong Kong. Cuba’s government throws dissidents in prison, silences anyone who dares to speak out, and makes political opposition a crime. And Russia’s cruel tactics are on full display for the entire world to see, from attacking civilians in Ukraine to forcibly deporting children.

Yet somehow, the U.N. lets these authoritarian bullies sit at the table—smiling for the cameras while pretending to care about human rights. It’s like letting arsonists join the local fire department. And liberals just keep applauding these globalist games, all while the actual abuses go unchecked.

The United Nations has turned into nothing more than a feckless bureaucracy, one that sends out investigators, writes up reports, and passes resolutions with zero teeth. The whole thing is an expensive show, designed to make people feel good while nothing changes. Meanwhile, America is expected to foot the bill and listen to lectures from countries that jail journalists and crush dissent.

Why should the United States keep playing along with this charade? The U.N. has shown, again and again, that it is powerless and unworthy of American trust—or tax dollars. Maybe it’s time to let these global elites host their own circus, and see how they do without the world’s greatest defender of liberty in the front row.
