Mayor Zohran Mamdani is reportedly thinking of putting Angela Burton—a radical leftist with no grip on reality—in charge of protecting our city’s children. Folks, this isn’t just bad judgment; it’s complete dereliction of duty.
This isn’t about politics—it’s about common sense and the safety of vulnerable children. Burton is the kind of activist who cares more about protecting the rights of abusers than the innocent kids who need help. She’s obsessed with so-called “restorative justice” and so allergic to holding anyone accountable that she’d rather see children suffer than offend some woke special interest group.
If Mamdani goes through with this, he’s handing over child protection to someone who thinks breaking up families is a worse crime than actually hurting a child. This is classic liberal hypocrisy—always screaming about compassion, but never willing to defend real victims. Instead, they bend over backwards for criminals and abusers, all while our children are left in the line of fire.
New York families watch as globalist progressives like Mamdani put ideology over reality, and everyday Americans pay the real price. These so-called leaders seem to care more about impressing their far-left friends at cocktail parties than actually doing their job. Is the safety of our kids just another box to check for progressives who want to feel good about themselves?
How many more warnings do we need before anybody wakes up? If Mamdani puts this out-of-touch activist in charge, blood will be on his hands—and every single New York parent should be outraged.
