Rubio jets to Caribbean while Americans suffer is your money funding cocktail hour politics

Marco Rubio is heading to Saint Kitts and Nevis this week to meet with a bunch of Caribbean leaders. Sounds fancy, right? But let’s be real—what’s actually getting done at these summits, besides yet another round of cocktail hours and empty promises? The American people are tired of watching our elected officials jet-set around the globe, making deals that rarely help hard-working families back home.

Why is Rubio buddying up with Caribbean politicians anyway? Liberals love to throw taxpayer money at other countries instead of focusing on the crisis at our own border. Our cities are in chaos, crime is through the roof, and costs are punishing the middle class. Yet, instead of rolling up sleeves and tackling the real issues that matter, Washington elites act like international photo-ops mean progress. Enough already.

And let’s not forget the globalist crowd that always worms its way into these meetings. If they had their way, America would be tied down by endless agreements, while our interests are thrown under the bus. Caribbean leaders want handouts and special treatment, while liberal bureaucrats in Washington are all too happy to oblige. Who ends up footing the bill? It’s the American taxpayer, every single time.

What’s really laughable is the lack of real transparency. Nobody is even sure if the so-called secretary will stick around for the whole shindig. That’s classic liberal government—big promises, zero accountability. They want us to believe “engagement” is what matters, but in the end, it’s just more hot air and no results.

Let’s demand real leadership. The time for feel-good summits is over. Americans need people in office who care more about Main Street than they do about Saint Kitts. Until we have bold conservatives in charge who put America first, these junkets will keep draining our wallets and delivering nothing in return. Are they working for us—or just for themselves?
