Every big government event, they drag out this tired tradition—picking one person to hide away, just in case disaster strikes. It sounds dramatic, but let’s be honest, it’s mostly for show.
Here’s the real jaw-dropper: The only person in the legislature truly in line for the presidency is the Speaker of the House. Everyone else is just window dressing. Yet Democrats treat this pick as if it’s some high-security, deeply meaningful decision. Maybe if they spent half as much energy on keeping the border secure as they do picking their next “survivor,” America wouldn’t be overrun with chaos.
It’s typical liberal priorities—worry more about symbolism than solutions. While hardworking Americans struggle, left-wing leaders play dress-up with doomsday scenarios. Democrats wring their hands over hypotheticals, but turn a blind eye to real problems plaguing families every day.
