It looks like Panama finally woke up. They’re not playing softball with communist China anymore. This week, Panama kicked a powerful Chinese conglomerate out of two major ports. And let’s be honest—the timing couldn’t be better. The Panama Canal isn’t just any stretch of water. It’s the artery that keeps world trade flowing. For years, globalists and weak-kneed liberals turned a blind eye while China snuck in and grabbed every strategic foothold they could. Thank heavens someone finally hit the brakes.
You’d think the Left would know better, but they never do. Liberals love to pretend China’s just another trading partner. They ignore Beijing’s hunger for control and pretend the Chinese Communist Party’s tentacles don’t reach all the way into our backyard. Meanwhile, China buys up ports, steals technology, and brags about their Belt and Road scheme as if they own the planet.
But Panama isn’t fooled anymore. By seizing two critical ports back from China, they’re sending a clear message. China shouldn’t be calling the shots in the Americas. A handful of brave politicians down there are drawing a line, saying, “No more.” And that’s exactly the kind of spine we need to see more of, not only in Central America, but in Washington too.
The so-called “international community” always tut-tuts when someone stands up to Beijing. Elites wring their hands about “trade relations” and “global stability.” What about our security? What about American interests? The Left keeps sipping their lattes and telling us we’re paranoid. But every port, every canal, every shipping route that falls under Beijing’s thumb is one more place America can be squeezed and blackmailed.
In the end, this should be a wake-up call for every American. Are we going to keep letting China gobble up every chokepoint and asset that matters, while our leaders twiddle their thumbs? Or is it time to fight back and remind the world who protects freedom and who kneels to despots? Panama’s got the guts. Will America be next?
