What happened in Utah is a rare win for justice in an era when the Left tries to make excuses for criminals at every turn. The judge in the Tyler Robinson death penalty case has rejected yet another desperate attempt by defense attorneys to blow up the process. In a dramatic move, Robinson’s team wanted the whole Utah County Attorney’s Office removed from the case—just so they could pull another trick out of the liberal playbook and stall justice even longer. The judge saw right through that nonsense.
This isn’t just any case. A proud conservative leader, Charlie Kirk, was assassinated. The Left is always preaching about “tolerance” and “peace,” but when a conservative is the victim, suddenly the outrage is nowhere to be found. Now we see liberal defense lawyers fighting hard to protect the accused killer, grasping for any technicality to drag things out. The message is clear: the Left cares more about criminals than the lives of good, patriotic Americans.
Utah prosecutors have stood strong. They’re not bowing down to political pressure, media narratives, or the whining of globalist elites. They’re pursuing the death penalty, a punishment that fits the crime when someone tries to silence conservatives with violence. For too long, soft-on-crime Democrats have tried to abolish capital punishment and let violent offenders walk free. Thankfully, Utah is showing the country that real justice still matters in America.
It’s disgusting—but not surprising—to see defense lawyers claim the prosecutor’s office can’t be trusted just because a deputy’s child attended the same school as the accused. Only in leftist legal fantasyland does this even count as a “conflict.” This is what the justice system looks like when it’s infected by radical activists: every stupid distraction gets a hearing, while victims and their families are forced to wait.
What happened in that Utah courtroom should serve as a wake-up call. Conservatives will not allow themselves to be intimidated or erased by violence. The Left can howl all they want, but we still have judges—at least for now—who see through the smokescreens. Are Americans finally ready to demand justice for the right, or will we keep letting liberal lawyers and activists make a mockery of our courts?
