US womens hockey team snubs White House as mens team shows true patriotism

America’s hockey heroes took center stage at the Olympics. Both our men’s and women’s teams crushed the Canadians in gold medal games, snatching victory in heart-pounding overtime thrillers. The pride on display was pure. The country came together, flag-waving, chants ringing out, a rare moment where real merit and hard work got rewarded. In any sane world, this would be a time for unity and celebration—a chance to put politics aside and honor the stars who represent everything great about this country.

But, of course, the woke agenda can’t let that happen—won’t let it happen. Here’s the latest: the U.S. men’s hockey team is absolutely pumped to get an invite to the State of the Union. Patriotism, respect for tradition—they get it. They want to stand up for the nation that gives them the freedom to pursue greatness. Meanwhile, the women’s hockey team is turning up their noses and refusing the invitation. Ask yourself: what message does that send?

It’s the same tired script. The left preaches equality but never misses a chance to virtue-signal, snub timeless American traditions, and make everything political. This isn’t about equality at all. It’s about ego and grievance and stoking the flames of division right when we should be rallying together. The women’s team just won gold—what a platform to inspire young girls! Instead, they deliver a lecture in disrespect.

Of course, the media will bend over backward to portray the men as out-of-touch or “problematic” for daring to be proud Americans. Meanwhile, the women will be painted as brave rebels for putting their feelings above everything else—even the chance to unify the nation. The globalist crowd always finds a way to shame traditional values while making victims out of those who reject them.

America needs more raw, unapologetic courage—the kind our men’s hockey team is showing. They’re not letting political games or progressive guilt cloud their basic love of country. Maybe the women’s team will figure out someday that real change doesn’t come from sitting out or refusing to show up. It comes from standing tall, showing gratitude, and celebrating what unites us. But hey, maybe that’s just too much to ask from the woke generation. When did pride in America become something to be ashamed of?
